Fear Factory or Soulfly?
Both seem interesting. Which is better? Also, what are their best albums? Both are awesome but then again Corey Taylor sang with Soulfly so I have to give them praise there but to me they are both awesome m/They are both awesome it all depends on what you want more if you want a good mix of both groove metal and Technicality with major speedy and tricky riffing with some really cool Keyboard Industrial programing (from Rhys Fulber of Front Line Assembly) go with Fear Factory
I recommend, Soul Of A New Machine, Demanufacture, Obsolete and Digimortal
If you want good Groove Metal with a Major Tribal influence go with Soulfly
Basically Soulfly is Max picking up where Sepultura left off with Roots before he left after that record
I recommend Soulfly self-titled, Primitive, and Soulfly 3personally my favorite is fear factory, their drummer is awesome. their better albums are re-manufacture, demanufacture, transgression, & obsolete. i don't know much about soulfly, but their okay. yet its hard to compare the two because their so different from each other. hope this helps!I don't rate Soulfly at all and I love Fear Factory so ill go with them.
Fear Factorys best album is Demanufacture but I have a B-Sides album called "Hatefiles" & I highly recommend it.Fear Factory has the most well produced music I've ever heard on any recording. If my band gets signed, I want him for my producer.Soulfly is my choice, and Primitive and 3 are two great albums by them. Seen them live and they rocked the house.
Check out Cavalera Conspiracy, its Max and Igor's new band.i was never mad on soulfly so can't really comment... but i have to say, 'demanufacture' along with 'burn my eyes' 'chaos ad' and 'vulgar display of power'... is one of the 'must have' 90's metal albums. it's awesome and starts like this- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFJzRitd8...
i also love the first album (soul of a new machine) that's much 'dirtier' and 'grindier'... even with a slight 'industrial' edge (i bet they were Godflesh fans ;) if you catch my drift... then 'obsolete' was ok... then i lost interest...
get 'demanufacture'... i doubt you'll be disappointed!I like Fear Factory better, especially their album Obsolete
Soulfly is pretty good, although Max Cavalera's best work is when he was fronting SepulturaFear Factory their albums with Dino were killer, I recommend getting Soul of a New Machine first then Demanufacture.
Can't go wrong with Soulfly either. I recommend both Dark Ages and Prophecy.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
