Restoring Houses of Brick & Stone

Amazon's "Look Inside" feature is a great way to preview some of these
books online, but you have to be registered at Amazon's site in order
to make use of it (there is no charge for registering).
These should do a good job of giving you the lay of the land when it
comes to styles of stone houses.

search strategy: Searched Google and Amazon.com for "stone houses"There is a commercial website for 'cultured stone' which has a gallery
of sample installations. Its not true stone (a concrete product), but
if you're primarily interested in the aesthetics, perhaps this will
provide what you need:
http://www.culturedstone.com
Also,
http://www.hammerstone.net
http://www.midweststone.com
http://www.eldoradostone.comthis isn't what I had in mind. I would be wiling to purchase a book
of rock houses for example. What I need is a site/book dedicated to
purely rock houses. I don't know what else to search under to get to
the thousands of existing rock houses in this world. Maybe under
architecture and rock or something?can you please find more books/webpages that address stone houses or
stone exterior houses?this is getting there...is there a way I can see some of the insides
of the book(s)? Can you find a few more similar books please?Spark619-ga,

Google Answers ResearcherDoes this help?
http://www.bc.edu/bc_org/avp/cas/fnart/fa267/FLW_taliesin.htmlTake a look at this link and let me know what you think:
http://images.google.com/images?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&q=%28rock+OR+stone%29+exterior+%28house+OR+home%29
There's a pretty good collection of rock-exterior houses here, but
it's not 100% -- some other photos slipped in as well.
Does this come close to meeting your needs?
pafalafa-gaAh! You mean like this...?
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0810932873/ref%3Dnosim/httpwwwbestne9-20/103-8878867-9494246#product-details
If this is the sort of thing you're looking for, I can probably find
another 2 or 3 books along the same lines. Would that meet your
needs?
