I am 14 and have leukemia, and I am going into hospital for chemotherapy tomorrow. Will I probably be in...?
A paediatric ward or an oncology ward? It is AML, and I'm just wondering about stuff like that now, weirdly.
Thanks! It depends on the hospital..they have pediatric oncology wards. you are considered pediatric tho, if that helps. best wishesPediatric....If they put you in an oncology ward please request them to put you into a Pediatric Ward It will benefit your needs the most....Good Luck and hope you feel betterI'm not sure... but I'll pray for you:)
xI think Panda is right. Most hospitals keep minors separate from adults. I've never seen anyone under 30-ish in about a year of infusions. My friend had leukemia. It's sad,but I think you will get through it. I don't think you will, but I'm not sure. They will probably just take you to a room and hook you up to machines and make you comfortable. Stay strong,I hope you feel better soon. You will be on a pediatric oncology ward if you are going to the right type of hospital. Pediatric cancers are treated differently than adult cancers.idk.. but feel better =)#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
