I just got retin a and ampicillin for my skin from my doctor and my skin is peeling,red,and burning! help!?!?
its my third day so i dont know if its normal but it hurts and looks aweful! i keep moizturizing but i dont know if i should. im using cetaphil to moizturize. should i keep using the medication!?Retin A is supposed to improve the texture and tone of your skin and the side effects can be a peeling and burning of the skin, but, if it feels excessive and your are having alot of peeling, blistering and pain you need to let your doctor know because there are other medications that can be given to you to help with that.you shoudl disconnect use and when you use retina your not suppose to expose yourself to the sun. So its either your allergic to medicine or you were exposed to sun too much....you shoudl go back to the doctorNo. This is classic allergic reaction signs.
