Is a 132 out of 300 on the PSAT's good? ?
  • I think its above-average from what I hear...

I mean I wasnt exactly shooting for the National Merit Scholarship.

Does this mean I'm gonna suck on the SAT's?

  • To find out what the equivalent to the SAT would be, you add a zero. So you got 1320 out of 2400

The average SAT score is about 1500, so you should try to score higher

  • What's your scores by section, if you don't mind me asking?

Some advice i wanted to give. Sorry, I never took the PSATs, but I took a lot of practice tests. Since the SATs basically measure how well you test, you should just take a lot of practice test. try using crossword puzzles that help in SAT vocab.

I took a prep course along with do a lot of practice tests, and went from a 1200 to a 1950.
    Hope that Helps..=)

  • Actually it is out of 240 not 300. In the actual SAT's you would most likely get a a 460 on verbal, a 390 on math, and a 470 on writing. Your estimated scores can change of course if you're not a junior yet or if you really study for the SAT's.

Oh and I think you already know this, but I'll say it anyways- On the SAT's you would have received around a 1320 out of 2400.

  • Here's the national average scores:

You can do well on the SAT with lots of good studying.

Hope this helps you! Please email if you want further clarification.
