    Granted not the most reliable source, but there apparently was an article in the Mirror (I saw via tribalfootball) in which young Barton said that he was tired of having to do everyone else's job on the pitch and that the senior players were actually looking to him to take control of the midfield and lead them, despite being a U-21. Any truth to this, or is this just bull-pucky?


  • He's certainly not the shy and retiring type, so the attitude sounds like him. Don't know if his team mates agree with him.
