What type of Oil, Brake , and power steering fluid does a 1990 Honda Civic EX use?
  • I just need to find out the right types so I don't end up blowing up my car.

    Thanks for your help! =3

  • all the weight and type should be on the caps dot 3 or 4 is fine for the brakes and the cluches power steering stick with honda power steering oil wise most honda's that year take either 5w30 or 5w20 4.5 times

  • Look on your crank case oil fill cap to see if it tells you the correct viscosity for that year. If its not there your owners manual. If you don't have one then 5W-30 is a good all around weight. For your brake fluid it will probably be DOT3 or DOT4 it should say on the brake fluid reservoir cap. I don't think there is a specific power steering fluid so any should do just fine.
